Security and data flow

RowSure is deliberately designed without a separate inventory-data SaaS backend.

Permissions

ZohoInventory.items.READ and ZohoInventory.items.UPDATE. v1 does not request Item CREATE or DELETE.

Data flow

Zoho Inventory → authorised embedded RowSure widget → Zoho Inventory. The product has no external inventory database, analytics SDK, advertising tracker or AI/model service.

Local storage

Staged drafts, My columns, Recent batches and restore metadata are stored in the browser and scoped by the current Zoho organisation/user context. Clearing browser data or uninstalling may remove that local history.

Write integrity

1. Edits remain staged until Apply.
2. Validation and deterministic warning checks run before write.
3. Target values are fresh-checked before updates.
4. Newer Zoho changes cause a conflict skip rather than an overwrite.
5. Completed updates are re-read and verified.
6. Unproven outcomes remain Needs review.

Feedback

The Feedback control opens your email client. RowSure does not automatically attach SKUs, catalogue values, organisation details, logs or diagnostics.
